Masaharu Asano : Futaori

In the heart of the city of Fukuoka (Japan), nestles a mysterious jewel-box. The Futaori store, conceived by the architect Masaharu Asano, unfolds in a minimalist design overhung by a vegetable blend signed by the Japanese studio Miru Design.

Bathed in light throughout the day, the unique piece that makes up the store specializing in kitchenware and decoration, Futaori, is designed so that the customer is disconnected from the hustle and bustle of the city. The products are arranged in a spaced manner on simple wooden shelves placed on stone walls or on a central table of the same material.

A sober and refined decoration that energizes a flowery suspension designed by the studio Miru Design, specialized in wooden installations. Seasonal bouquets float above the visitors, immersing them in an enchanting and bucolic universe. The plant elements are upside down, suspended and not laid, thus reversing the codes of the classical arrangement. For obvious practical reasons, the architect preferred to integrate dried flowers, pastel and aged tones, more coherent with the products sold, which seem straight out of a sale.

The gentle nostalgic fragrance mixed with the purified forms plunges the client into a universe full of serenity, a thousand places of the urban buzzing that awaits them outside.
