Setter Architects : Algotec Systems

For the renovation of its offices in Ra'anana (Israel), Algotec Systems - a company specializing in high medical imaging technologies - addressed the Setter Architects delivering a warm and inspiring workplace.

With this project, the designers sought to transcribe architecturally areas of activity of the firm, namely the human body and its parts. The layout and design of premises are therefore focused on cells, molecules, tissues and spine. The conference room, for example, is thus built on the model of the thorax, banded wood here.


"As a team of design, our challenge was to use the imagery of the human anatomy and bring a new architectural vocabulary. We did this by performing anatomical images through filters of scales, materials, prints and textures. " Setter Architects

Similarly, the company is organized to function as a human body, each volume of this building 2800 square meters is a small independent cell appearance but assembled, used to operate all the stairs connecting the three levels is meanwhile office spine.

This theme is also present in the decoration of the building: a section of wall, for example, covered with a mirror on the grounds reminiscent of the skin - which are also present on the opaque windows open workspaces. For its part, a multitude of bulbs that echoes the synapses connected.

The brand offers a place where it is good to work in a building combining serious and playful aspects.
