Slash Objetcs : Coexist

Slash Objects is the latest addition to the New York brand, Coexist Is a collection of small furniture combining marble and brass for a result with lines noble, geometric and purified.

Composed of tables, mirrors and trays of various formats, the range plays with materials and shapes, and merges several graphic elements to form a singular unit.

«The collection Coexist Comes from a fascination with how parts interact with one another - how materials with very different natural properties can be formed and gathered in a coherent room. " Arielle Assouline-Lichten, founder of Slash Objects

The coffee table, large version, is the most imposing piece in the series. Its tray in white marble is supported by two brass cubes, one of which seems to be unbalanced and pierce the slab by the corner. In a smaller format, the side table uses the same principle of nesting two geometric shapes and combines a small cube of green marble with a larger one of brass, absorbing a part of the first. All accessories designed by Brooklyn-based designers work on the same model and are designed with the combination of a mineral shape and a metal one.

The very name Coexist Is inspired by the recent US elections and how they have divided as well as gathered people.
