BIG : Alphabet of Light

The range of lamps Alphabet of Light was born from the association of Danish architect Bjarke Ingels (BIG agency) and the Italian lighting company Artemide. Their joint production is characterized by the creation of a new modular geometric police.

After considering the creation of simple graphical elements that can be combined and form infinite light structures, Bjarke Ingels and Artemide finally opting for the development of a bright alphabet, created from the assembly of these basic forms. The letters - is declining both in tiny capitals - are thus composed of geometric modules associated with joints and hidden joints.

Designers see this creation as the representation of a discourse, a way to express more than just a design object.

« Alphabet of Light is a light language to communicate freedom [...]. From a nomogram essential geometric elements, BIG draws a new policy that translates into light, an alphabet used to write and express thoughts, an instrument to shape the spaces. " Artemide

With this range, it is now possible to display on the walls full extent of your bright ideas.
