Not far from the ski resort of La Clusaz, the architects of Studio Razavi agency deliver a shelter of 200 square meters spread over three levels. A reinterpretation of the vernacular codes of the Manigod valley cottage (74).

At the heart of the hilly landscape of the small town of Calamonte (Spain), the Sevillian architects of the NGNP Arquitectos studio realize the CID, an all-encompassing building designed to decentralize part of the activities of the General Council.

22.06.17  Diébédo Francis Kéré: Serpentine Gallery Pavillon

Each year, the Serpentine Contemporary Art Gallery installs a temporary pavilion designed by an internationally renowned architect in the heart of Kensington Park in London (United Kingdom). For the 2017 edition, it was the Burkinabé Diébédo Francis Kéré, who was chosen. It produces an indigo blue structure inspired by the shape of a tree.

Originally a small forest warehouse, this hidden building in the Montréal forest was rehabilitated by the Quebec architecture agency YH2, which transforms it into a contemporary shelter on three levels, where its owners can fully enjoy the lush landscapes surrounding.

20.06.17  Arch Studio: Twisting Court

Arch Studio, based in Beijing, China, rehabilitates a siheyuan - a traditional Pekingese house with a patio - in the historic Dashilar district. With the new developments of the courtyard and the interior designed by the architects, this former private accommodation becomes an atypical and intriguing rental space of the city center.

After the films Mr. Foster - on the eponymous architect, Sketches on Frank Gehry, or Rem, addressing the work of Dutchman Rem Koolhas, Bjarke Ingels, aka BIG, releases his biopic: BIG TIME. A work that, although it invokes the genius of the young Danish creator, finds its place between the documentary and the romantic Z-series.

19.06.17  Heatherwick Studio & Foster + Partners: Cultural Center Bund Finance Center

Integrated at the Bund Finance Center Shanghai Business Center, this cultural complex is characterized by a mobile metallic cladding inspired by the openings of traditional Chinese theaters. It is the result of a collaboration between the architects of Foster + Partners and the designers of Heatherwick Studio.
